About the role:
The HR Business Partner at Rombola Family Farms is a role responsible for delivering both human resources and work health and safety services across the business. The position is split approximately 70% HR and 30% WHS supporting the development of a positive workplace culture employee engagement and legislative compliance.
Key accountabilities include:
- Deliver a seamless employee experience across onboarding training engagement performance and offboarding processes.
- Manage HR administration including maintaining accurate employee records ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and optimising internal HR systems.
- Administer and maintain the Employment Hero platform supporting managers training users and ensuring data integrity.
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries and employee support.
- Assist in coordinating performance and probation reviews.
- Contribute to employee engagement culture-building initiatives and staff wellbeing activities.
- Support the management of the People & Culture inbox and undertake ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
- Oversee compliance with WHS legislation and internal policies relating to employee safety and wellbeing.
- Implement monitor and review WHS policies and procedures in line with Australian standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate WHS records incident documentation and audit trails.
- Prepare and present WHS reports data and statistics to management.
- Foster a safety-first culture by promoting health wellbeing and environmental awareness throughout the workforce.
- Conduct site risk assessments safety inspections incident investigations and onboarding safety inductions.
- Support injury management and coordinate return-to-work processes.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
- 23 years experience in a similar HR and/or WHS role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt across a diverse workforce.
- High level of administrative efficiency including exceptional time management and organisational abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
