Job Purpose

The Skilled Technician / Waterproofing is responsible for carrying out waterproofing works for roofs basements wet areas tanks and other structures to prevent water leakage and ensure long-term structural protection.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform waterproofing applications on roofs walls basements bathrooms water tanks and other structures
• Apply waterproofing membranes coatings sealants and chemical treatments as per project requirements
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning grinding leveling and repairing cracks before application
• Conduct leak detection and rectification works
• Operate waterproofing tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure proper mixing and application of waterproofing materials according to manufacturer specifications
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and durability standards are met
• Follow safety procedures work permits and site regulations at all times
• Coordinate with supervisors and other site personnel to complete tasks within deadlines
• Maintain tools materials and work areas in good condition

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of experience in waterproofing works
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems membranes sealants and coating applications
• Ability to read and understand basic work instructions and drawings
• Familiarity with construction site safety practices
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and outdoor environments
• Basic communication skills in English

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial industrial or residential waterproofing projects
• Knowledge of PU coating bituminous membrane cementitious waterproofing and injection grouting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Working Conditions

• Site-based work environment
• May require overtime and work during weekends depending on project requirements
• Exposure to outdoor weather and construction site conditions
