Job Title: Electrical Technician – Leave Reliever
Location: Qatar

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive corrective and troubleshooting electrical maintenance jobs for garage equipment such as overhead cranes and chain hoists as per SAP maintenance schedules.

• Perform troubleshooting and rectification for reported electrical faults and breakdowns.

• Handle power supply breaker ON/OFF operations and electrical cable connection/disconnection activities.

• Carry out minor and major repair/overhauling of damaged electrical motor components.

• Use and maintain standard hand tools required for maintenance activities.

• Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in safe and effective working condition in line with QAPCO safety regulations and standards.

• Inspect work quality and take corrective action for any detected faults as per maintenance standards and procedures.

• Maintain good housekeeping at work sites and workshops while strictly following QAPCO safety policies and procedures.

• Perform any other related maintenance duties assigned by supervisors.

Qualification & Experience

• 3-year Diploma / Associate Engineer in Electrical after secondary school.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical maintenance of lifting equipment.

• Mandatory hands-on experience in EOT Crane Maintenance.

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals and electrical drawings.

• Good knowledge and usage of maintenance tools related to the electrical field.

• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

• Candidate should be intelligent hardworking and capable of independent troubleshooting.

• Sound knowledge of proper maintenance techniques and safety practices.

• Must hold a valid Qatari Driving License.

Salary & Benefits

• During Leave Reliever period: QR 5782

• After replacement/confirmation: QR 1800
