Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.

We are looking for an experienced API Integration Developer with strong hands-on expertise in CA Layer7 API Gateway CA API Developer Portal and CI/CD environments running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
The role focuses on designing developing securing and maintaining API integrations and policies aligned with enterprise standards along with supporting automation and platform stability.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:-

. Design and develop APIs (REST/SOAP) using Layer7 Policy Manager
. Build and maintain API policies including routing orchestration and transformations
. Implement API security (OAuth2 JWT API Keys mTLS SAML)
. Integrate backend systems using HTTP/S JMS JDBC and SFTP
. Publish and manage APIs on CA API Developer Portal with proper documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger)
. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for API deployments (Jenkins/GitLab CI)
. Automate deployments using Layer7 GMU and scripting (Shell/Python on RHEL)
. Perform API testing (Postman/SoapUI) and performance testing (JMeter/LoadRunner)
. Monitor API performance logs and troubleshoot issues
. Support API lifecycle management including versioning enhancements and decommissioning
. Handle production support activities such as incident resolution patching certificate renewals and upgrades
. Ensure compliance with enterprise security governance and audit standards

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. 410 years of experience in API development and integration
. Strong hands-on experience with CA Layer7 API Gateway (Policy Manager)
. Experience with CA API Developer Portal for API publishing and management
. Solid understanding of REST SOAP JSON XML and API design standards
. Hands-on experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Git GitLab CI)
. Strong working knowledge of Linux environments (RHEL) and scripting (Bash/Python)
. Experience with Layer7 GMU or automated deployment mechanisms
. Strong knowledge of API security protocols (OAuth2 JWT TLS SAML)
. Experience in API testing and performance tuning
. Good understanding of monitoring logging and troubleshooting practices
. Experience in handling production support (L2/L3) and incident management
