- Hours: 7:00 AM 5:30 PM
- Call Required (schedule based on unit needs)
- Weekend requirements discussed with manager
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician with strong Cardiac Cath experience and additional expertise in at least one of the following specialties: Interventional Radiology Vascular or Neuro procedures. Candidates must demonstrate experience in at least two of the four modalities within their work history.
This role requires a collaborative team player who can thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment and float between multiple facilities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments
- Operate and monitor Cath Lab equipment
- Support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and patient records
- Float between facilities within scope of practice as needed
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 18 months of Cath Lab experience required
- 2 years preferred
- Experience in at least two of the following:
- Cardiac Cath
- Interventional Radiology
- Vascular
- Neuro
- Cath Lab Scrub Technologist experience required
- EPIC charting experience preferred
Required Certifications
- AHA ACLS
- AHA BLS
Preferred Certifications
- RCVT (Registered Cardiovascular Technician)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
