Responsibilities
Asa Business Analyst you will serve as a dedicated team member who has primary responsibility to support thedevelopmentteamto successfully achievetheir daily iteration and release goals and deliveryobjectives. They do so by effectivelyeliciting documentingcommunicatingand prioritizingbusiness requirements from clients whileapplyingimplementingand enforcing Scrum principles and practices. The Business Analyst willsupport andfacilitatea team dynamic intended to maximize performance of theteam andwillassistwithcontinuously improving agile practices.
Other responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
- Formation and definition of projectactivitiesandobjectivesbased on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements.
- Develops understanding of business needs of multiple stakeholdersand/or productownerthrough a variety of elicitation techniques.
- Facilitates the negotiation of requirements amongst stakeholdersproductowner and projectmanager.
- Helps business stakeholders envision how their processes will change with implementation ofsolutions.
- Builds requirements toaccurately and thoroughly capture business needsandensures user stories are concise and complete.
- Builds and updates system requirements specification documents or other requirements related artifacts.
- Able to interact with technical staff and work collaboratively to define technical solutions to solve business needs.
- Able to perform responsibilitiesutilizingagile software development methodologies.
Qualifications
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree with experience in a related Information Technology field
- Experience in developing requirements
- Experience writing technical documents
- Excellentwriting and communication skills
- Ableto take initiative manage own workload and assume responsibility fortasks
- Ableto multi-task handle multiple projects and meet internal and clientdeadlines
- Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes
- Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organization Agile process lifecycle
- Strong written and communication skills
- Must have Agile experience;methodologies and tools(Azure DevOps Jira or similar)
- Experiencewith User Interface designs and mockups
- Prior experience with building solutions using MicrosoftPower Apps or Dynamics PowerPlatformand Power BI is highly desirable.
- Previousexperience working with Government clients is highly desirable
- Must have experience in conducting daily stand-up meetings planning and review sessions prioritizingtasksand mitigatingroadblocks
Required Clearance:
- Must be US Citizen and have at least an active US government Secret-level security clearance
