Security requirements: This role will require to have a BPSS check which will be carried out by TWI.

Description of role:

This role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions ensuring timely payments from customers and processing payments to suppliers.

Job Description:

  • Handle daily accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) transactions under supervision.
  • Assist with daily financial transactions including data entry and invoice verification.
  • Process supplier invoices and prepare payment vouchers according to company policies.
  • Reconcile customer and supplier statements resolve discrepancies
  • Assist in reconciling the accounts payable ledger
  • Maintain accurate records ensure timely data entry and filing of all accounting records
  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations including other basic reconciliation.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting
  • Provide administrative assistance to the team in daily tasks.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Job Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
  • Possess positive attitude responsible committed ethical result-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Able to work independently and work well in a team
  • Required language(s): English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Possess positive attitude responsible committed ethical result-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and accounting software (AutoCount) is an advantage.
