Electrical Engineering P17

Job Summary:
Plan and execute electrical design and development activities for medical device systems and components. Manage projects of moderate scope and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality and compliance. Acts as a resource for less experienced engineers and contributes to innovative realiable solutions for medical device components.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and conduct design and development of electrical systems schematics and PCB layouts and cable/harness designs.
- Independently generate requirements and ensure design for manufacturability and testability
- Conduct technical design reviews and resolve complex engineering issues
- Execute and document verification and validation testing.
- Prepare documentation test protocols and reports to support project planning and decision-making.
- Mentor junior engineers Collaborates across functions and with external partners to address technical challenges and ensure timely project delivery.
- Apply FBS tools and best practices for continuous improvement
- Performs Failure Analyses and Investigation reports.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5 years of relevant experience (or 3 years with Masters)

Role and Competencies Requirements:
- In-depth knowledge in analog/digital circuit design and PCB tools (Orcad PSPICE)
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Knowledge of safety standards and ESD practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Visio and collaboration tools
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Familiarity with FBS and continuous improvement principles
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Proficient with Design for manufacturing
- Proficient with Design for testability
- Uses general hand and laboratory tools.
- Domestic and International travel as required
