Job Summary

Labcorp is seeking a Hospital Key Account Executive (HKAE) to join our team in supporting the East Washington State and West Division Hospital team.

As a Hospital Key Account Executive you will be responsible for managing a large existing book of business while also introducing focus specialty products analytical platforms and workflow efficiencies to our clients. You will target new opportunities with current hospital partners and develop relationships with all leaders inside the hospital administration. The HKAE takes ownership for onboarding new hospital reference laboratory business and working with division and corporate HHS leadership to expand services beyond clinical reference testing (i.e. Labcorp Oncology & Genetics).

Pay Range: $75000 - $92000

All job offers will bebased on a candidates skills and prior relevant experience applicabledegrees/certificationsas well as internal equity and market data.

Variable Compensation:

The position is also eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan. Bonus/commissions are earned based on achievement of performance metrics underthe plan.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes strategic account plans for assigned hospital and healthcare system accounts. Cultivates strong relationships with key stakeholders including C-suite executives physicians laboratory directors and purchasing managers.
  • Meets and exceeds sales targets by identifying opportunities to upsell LabCorps testing services and solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to develops tailored proposals and solutions that address the unique needs of each customer.
  • Stays abreast of market trends competitive activities and regulatory changes affecting the healthcare industry. Leverages market insights to identify new business opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries concerns and escalations. Acts as a trusted advisor to customers providing guidance on LabCorps capabilities test offerings and industry best practices.
  • Collaborates closely with internal teams including sales operations marketing customer service and laboratory operations to ensure seamless execution of account strategies and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Negotiates pricing contracts and service agreements with hospital and healthcare system accounts. Ensures that all agreements are aligned with company objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitors key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of account strategies and identifies areas for improvement. Prepares regular reports and presentations for senior leadership

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in business administration Marketing Healthcare Administration/ Management or Finance/Accounting
  • 3 years or more of experience in healthcare sales account management or business development with a proven track record of success

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years or more of experience in healthcare sales account management or business development with a proven track record of success

Additional Job Standards

  • The territory for this position will cover East Washington State and parts of Montana. The ideal candidate will reside in East Washington State.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft 365 and using tools to increase reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare industry including hospital operations reimbursement dynamics and regulatory landscape
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in contract management and pricing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends identify growth opportunities and develop actionable plans
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a passion for driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
