This is an exciting opportunity to join the executive leadership team at ZMC Hotels LLC. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources to provide executive-level leadership direction and support across our portfolio of 47 hotels located in 18 states. The Vice President Human Resources will work out of the Walnut Creek California office.
The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for developing leading and executing the organizations human resources strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company. This role oversees all aspects of human resources management including talent acquisition employee relations compliance benefits administration performance management compensation and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities
Develop implement and evaluate legally compliant human resources policies procedures and best practices across the organization
Maintain expert knowledge of employment laws regulations compliance requirements and emerging trends in human resources talent management and workplace technology
Provide strategic leadership coaching and direction to four Regional Human Resource Managers
Lead executive-level recruitment efforts for General Managers corporate support team positions and hotel leadership roles
Research design and implement competitive compensation structures employee benefits programs performance appraisal systems and employee incentive initiatives
Oversee administration of compensation benefits leave management talent development succession planning and annual Open Enrollment processes
Serve as the primary resource for complex employee relations matters human resources concerns benefits questions and organizational challenges
Partner with senior leadership to align people strategies with operational and business objectives
Foster a culture of accountability engagement and continuous improvement throughout the organization
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred
Minimum of seven years of progressive human resources management experience required with multi-unit or hospitality leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance
Proven leadership experience managing teams and supporting executive-level decision-making
Exceptional communication problem-solving and organizational skills

The total compensation pay range is between $185000 - $215000 per year.
