How you will make contributions that matter
As the National Account Manager Independent Grocery (Metcash) you will take ownership of a key national portfolio and drive growth through strong customer partnerships and category leadership.
Key elements of your role will include:
- Developing and executing Joint Business Plans to deliver sales growth and category performance
- Building strong long-term relationships with Metcash and becoming a trusted commercial partner
- Driving distribution share of shelf profitability and market share outcomes
- Leading forecasting and demand planning accuracy across internal and external stakeholders
- Analysing market and scan data to identify opportunities and drive strategic decisions
- Managing P&L outcomes including trade investment and promotional planning
- Supporting new product development tenders and key customer initiatives
About you
- Proven experience in a National Account Manager
- Strong experience within Independent Grocery (essential) / Metcash
- Demonstrated ability to deliver commercial growth and strategic account plans
- Strong financial and commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical capability with experience using market data/scan insights
- A proactive resilient mindset with a drive to exceed results
