About The Opportunity

Programmed Facility Management are seeking an experienced Maintenance Tiler to join our Perth team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of an essential team that provides maintenance services to over 18000 public housing dwellings for the Department of Communities including Aboriginal communities in metro and remote locations throughout the State.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Branch Supervisor the Maintenance Tiler is primarily responsible for general maintenance and reactive maintenance of our Contracts facilities.

Duties include:

• Waterproofing and sealing
• Wall and floor tiling
• General reactive tiling maintenance
• Bathroom refurbishments

About You

To join our team you will be an experienced Tiler who has experience in a domestic or commercial environment has excellent attention to detail and a strength for delivering a high quality service without compromise. The incumbent is a key person within the Team promoting staff morale while displaying a can do and Team Player attitude. Additionally you will provide first-class customer service whilst maintaining a commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.

Additionally you will possess:

• Australian Working Rights
• Ability to pass comprehensive (Client) Pre-Employment Medical including Instant Drug and Alcohol Screening
• Current satisfactory National Police Check (within 6 months)
• Certificate III in Wall and Floor Tiling (desirable)
• Construction White Card (desirable)
• Working at Heights (desirable)
• First Aid training and other Trade based competencies (desirable)
• Hand Tools for the Trade (preferred)

Additionally you will also possess the following skills:

• Ability to work in a Team; be a self-motivator and take instructions.
• Ability to prioritise and adapt to changing work tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate a professional approach in the workplace with excellent customer service skills.
• Have a strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others at all times.
