Full-Time Opportunity

We are seeking a Lab Technologist with strong microbiology experience to join a growing laboratory team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with microbiology instruments and routine culture testing in a fast-paced laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine microbiology testing including urine cultures wound cultures and related specimen analysis
Operate and maintain laboratory instruments including MicroScan VITEK and MALDI-TOF
Record analyze and document test results accurately
Perform quality control troubleshooting and instrument maintenance procedures
Assist in developing and validating laboratory assays and protocols
Collaborate with healthcare providers and laboratory staff to support patient care
Follow laboratory safety infection control and compliance standards
Report directly to the Lab Supervisor

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science Biology or related field
Hands-on microbiology laboratory experience required
Experience with MicroScan VITEK and MALDI-TOF preferred
Strong understanding of routine microbiology procedures and culture testing
MT or MLS certification preferred
