Injection Molding Process Engineer - PSC31926
Compensation: $70000 - 120000/year (DOE) Benefits

Schedule: Full-Time / First Shift
We are seeking a Injection Molding Process Engineer to support a fast-paced high-precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for developing optimizing and sustaining robust molding processes to ensure consistent product quality efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in process optimization troubleshooting and continuous improvement with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities

Develop optimize and maintain injection molding processes for high-quality production
-
Lead process validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ) and maintain supporting documentation
-
Analyze and improve processes to enhance efficiency cycle time and yield
-
Troubleshoot molding issues and perform root cause analysis to implement corrective actions
-
Monitor and control process parameters (temperature pressure speed cooling etc.)
-
Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to support new and existing programs
-
Support new product launches tooling trials and process development
-
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean Six Sigma 5S)
-
Ensure compliance with quality standards SOPs and safety requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
-
4 years of experience in injection molding or plastics manufacturing
-
Strong knowledge of process development optimization and troubleshooting injection molding processes.
-
Experience with process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ)
-
Familiarity with plastics polymers and plastic processing and material handling
-
Ability to analyze data and improve process performance
-
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (medical ISO FDA GMP)
-
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
-
Exposure to scientific molding DOE or SPC
-
Experience with automation or auxiliary equipment
-
Background in cleanroom or precision manufacturing environments
Leadership & Collaboration

Lead process improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with production quality and engineering teams
-
Support and mentor technicians on process best practices and troubleshooting
-
Communicate effectively to implement and sustain process improvement.
