RN Emergency Room

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality fast-paced emergency care in a hospital emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical thinking skills the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations and experience caring for a wide variety of emergency and trauma patients.

This role requires flexibility excellent communication and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team during night shifts.

• Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care in the emergency department
• Provide rapid assessment and stabilization of emergency patients
• Administer medications IV therapy blood products and emergency treatments as ordered
• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in status
• Perform emergency procedures and assist physicians during critical interventions
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Coordinate care with physicians specialists and ancillary departments
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies safety standards and infection control guidelines
• Deliver compassionate patient-centered emergency care in a high-acuity environment

• Night shift
• 12-hour shifts
• Three shifts per week
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Holiday coverage may be required

• Active California Registered Nurse license required
• Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Proof of negative TB screening within 12 months prior to contract start required

• Strong emergency assessment and triage skills
• Experience managing critical and high-acuity patients
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced emergency environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
• Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills

• CPSI/Evident
