Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Day Shift
Location: Monterey CA
Pay Rate: $30.00 $36.00/hr
Schedule: Day shift
Contract: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 38 hours/week
Experience: Minimum 1 year
About the Role
We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a 13-week contract in Monterey CA. This role is a great fit for a COTA with skilled nursing facility experience and knowledge of Rehab Optima / NetHealth.
Responsibilities
- Assist with occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision
- Support patients with daily living skills mobility and functional independence
- Provide therapy services in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Document patient progress and treatment details accurately
- Collaborate with therapists nursing staff and care team members
- Follow facility policies safety standards and rehab guidelines
Requirements
- Active California COTA license required
- Minimum 1 year of COTA experience required
- Skilled Nursing Facility experience required
- Rehab Optima / NetHealth experience preferred
- Ability to work day shift
- Strong patient care communication and documentation skills
