Job Description:
As a Business Analyst you will serve as the voice of the customer ensuring business needs are clearly understood documented and translated into effective technical solutions. You will work across both Agile and Waterfall environments to support the full software development lifecycle partnering with stakeholders and delivery teams to drive successful outcomes and high quality enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to understand processes and customer needs.
• Elicit analyze and document business requirements user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Perform root cause analysis to identify system gaps and recommend solutions.
• Develop process diagrams including BPMN context diagrams and data flow diagrams.
• Translate business requirements into Agile epics features and user stories.
• Map user stories to technical solutions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Support backlog management and prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners.
• Perform quality assurance activities including test planning execution and regression testing.
• Facilitate and document User Acceptance Testing with stakeholders.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• 10 years of experience delivering business and data analysis artifacts.
• 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile environments.
• Strong understanding of Scrum methodologies and Agile lifecycle practices.
• Experience maintaining product backlogs and prioritizing based on business needs.
• Strong background in data analysis data management and SQL.
• Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Visio and Project.
• Experience working with data platforms including warehouses or data lakes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Professional certifications in business analysis or Agile practices.
• Experience with automated testing tools.
• Additional experience with Agile work management tools.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
