HIM Lead Application Analyst
Job Duration: 6 Months
Job Location: Camden NJ (Onsite Role)
Client: Cooper University Healthcare
Pay Rate: $70/hr. to $80/hr. on W2
Work Authorization: Need only USC candidate (Need local candidate who lives below 50 miles radius)

Required Skills & Experience
- 8 10 years of experience supporting healthcare applications or clinical systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear user-friendly language.
- Customer-focused adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain application-specific certification/proficiency within 90 days (if applicable).
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Healthcare Business or a related field (Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Experience working in a hospital health system or medical practice
- Experience supporting Epic HIM modules
- Experience supporting OnBase workflows
- Epic Gallery project experience is a strong plus
Responsibilities
The Application Lead HIM will balance hands-on application support with day-to-day team leadership including:
- Acting as a subject matter expert for HIM applications and workflows.
- Supporting continuity of operations.
- Coordinating and prioritizing team work to meet service levels and deadlines.
- Providing guidance mentoring and technical oversight to application analysts.
- Serving as an escalation point for complex issues involving integrated systems.
- Partnering with HIM clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and identify effective solutions.
- Performing fit/gap analysis and documenting current and future-state workflows.
- Designing testing validating and implementing system enhancements.
- Leading or supporting small- to medium-scale initiatives and enhancements.
- Collaborating on integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Reviewing triaging and assigning incidents and change requests to ensure balanced workloads.
- Participating in a second-level 24x7 on-call rotation.
