Logan Health is looking for a Behavioral Health Therapist (LCSW LMFT or LCPC) to join our school-based team!

Where youll be working:
This position will be primarily based out of Russell Elementary serving students K-5. This position may also float to other Flathead Valley schools for ages ranging from Kindergarten - 12th grade.

What youll be doing:
In this role you will provide outpatient therapy services to students in kindergarten through fifth grade as well as their families and school staff. Services include individual group and family therapy screening assessments brief interventions care coordination and prevention education all provided within the school setting.

Who you are:
We are looking for a licensed LCSW LCPC or LMFT or a candidate pursuing licensure and eligible for supervision. You must have experience providing therapy to children ranging from Kindergarten - 12th grade in school-based or residential setting. Family therapy training and telehealth experience are a plus!

The ideal candidate is flexible dependable and comfortable working across multiple school sites. Strong clinical judgment the ability to work independently and excellent collaboration skills are essential. Proficiency with technology and the ability to adapt to new systems are also important.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or related counseling field required.

  • Current Montana LCSW LCPC or LMFT license or LCSW LCPC LMFT candidate license required before hire date.

  • Therapy experience with Pre-K to 5th grade age groups is required.

  • Current CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Possess knowledge of evidence-based practice and experience in assessment crisis assessment brief therapies and clinical case management preferred.

  • Ability to analyze intervene and evaluate a range of psychosocial theory and methods as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Possess knowledge of cultural ethnic social historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.

  • De-escalation training successfully obtained within one (1) year of hire.

  • Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities.

  • Excellent organizational skills detail-oriented a self-starter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact professionalism and diplomacy.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Triages referrals from providers and ensures on-going liaison occurs with stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Performs initial and comprehensive assessments including diagnostic evaluation risk assessment behavioral systems level of care need and other information necessary to determine treatment as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Performs as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team provides consultation and education services as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Coordinates patient transitions into services and discharges from treatment as applicable to assigned area(s). Coordinates care admissions and/or referrals with appropriate stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Completes progress notes and documentation in EMR for services provided to patient per department protocol and as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • As applicable to assigned area(s): Provides individual group and family therapy clinical case management and outreach services in an effort to fulfill the patients treatment goals wellness and recovery; Participates in development of individual and/or group treatment plans utilizing a variety of brief psychotherapeutic psychosocial and/or psychoeducational modalities.

  • Provides crisis management as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Works with medical clinical and support staff to arrange mobilize utilize and coordinate a comprehensive range of community resources that effectively meet the identified patient and family needs as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Serves as a patient advocate and liaison with physicians and other healthcare professionals as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Complies with the legal and regulatory laws reporting and practice standards within scope of practice.

Shift:

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 8-hour day shifts)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
