Key Responsibilities

As a Scheduling Coordinator you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of our EMT workforce. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Scheduling: Develop manage and optimize schedules for 600 team members ensuring appropriate coverage and proactively adjusting to fluctuating call volumes.
• Certification Management: Monitor EMT certifications to ensure compliance and manage renewals and expirations in a timely manner.
• Problem Solving: Handle scheduling requests with a solution-oriented mindset balancing operational needs while maintaining a positive and collaborative approach.
• Data Analysis: Leverage the Unit Hour Utilization application to analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable insights through daily weekly and monthly reporting.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Serve as a key liaison between Operations and HR ensuring clear communication and supporting initiatives such as the EMT ride-along program.
• Event & Ad Hoc Staffing: Coordinate staffing for special events and urgent requests maintaining efficiency in dynamic and fast-paced situations.
• New Hire Onboarding: Oversee scheduling for the New Hire Academy supporting the successful onboarding and development of new team members.
