Summary:
As a Barista in the vibrant hospitality and tourism sector you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality beverages. Your expertise in coffee preparation and your passion for creating a welcoming atmosphere will enhance the overall experience for our guests making you an integral part of our team in Australia.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages to customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area
- Engage with customers to provide a friendly and welcoming service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively
- A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about the industry
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
