The Systems Analyst Finance Technology and Data will be responsible for collecting organizing and analyzing data troubleshooting data issues developing reports (SQL and Power BI) communicating results driving key projects and drive process optimization. This position will engage stakeholders throughout the organization and the US parent company to advance critical initiatives and serve as a liaison for system enhancements and process improvements.

HERES HOW YOULL CONTRIBUTE:

  • Function as a Power BI and SQL query expert translating business requirements into effective reports data visualizations queries/stored procedures key performance indicators (KPIs) data analysis/interpretation to support financial reporting and decision-making processes.

  • Should be capable of understanding Data models and perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy completeness and reliability of financial data.

  • Function as a subject matter expert for our finance system understanding transactional level processing to provide back-up support to our systems team and support on various data related requests.

  • Be proactive and Identify opportunities for automation process enhancement and spearhead the development of scripts or workflows to streamline routine tasks significantly improving overall operational efficiency.

  • Respond promptly to ad-hoc requests for financial analysis delivering timely and insightful reports that support decision-making at various organizational levels.

  • Configure implement maintain and customize financial systems and manage integrations with various support systems.

  • Perform daily monthly and ad-hoc tasks/projects to ensure the integrity of the companys financial data needed to generate required reporting and customer billing by accessing the accounting system of record (Oracle EBS R12) and other source systems to provide required data.

HERES WHAT YOULL BRING:

  • University degree or College diploma required in Business Administration (ICT Focused) or Computer Science (MIS).

  • Youll bring an attention to detail with 7-10 years or experience in data financial systems (Revenue Cycle) and process analysis with a strong knowledge of SQL (Queries Stored Procedures SSRS Triggers) Excel (VBA programming and Macro creation) and financial databases.

  • Youll bring strong understanding of Power BI while good understanding of Financial Systems/ERPs(Oracle AR) and their Data Flows which will require you to use them for Data modelling and data mining

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including VBA programming and Excel Macros.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to translate complex data into clear actionable insights.

  • A Team player who can challenge assumptions propose efficient solutions and should be able to understand end-users requirements for trouble shooting current issues or creating new reports or system enhancements..

  • Good work ethic with strong time management and ability to prioritize work during demanding periods.

  • Naturally curious with an ability to formulate questions at varying depths to uncover needs hunt for misalignment and grow an understanding of our business.

  • Initiative-taker and can work independently to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Ability to work in a team with varied skill sets and experience.

  • Positive mindset and willingness to learn on the job.

Total Direct Compensation:

$92300 to $112900

Any pay range is in $CAD. The stated pay range reflects the total expected compensation for this role (e.g. base pay plus any expected incentives or allowances where applicable)
