In the roleofaMechanicalService technicianbased in our offices inAucklandasa Service Technician based at a highly automated meat processing and distribution facility you support safe operations by performing maintenance troubleshooting and system improvements on advanced equipment within a shift-based environment.

Your Impact:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure continuous reliable system operations.

• Diagnose and resolve faults in automated systems to minimize downtime and operational disruption.

• Use data analytics toidentifyimprovements and enhance overall system performance.

• Deliver high-quality technical support while adhering to strict food safety and sterile environmental standards.

• Collaborate with global teams and work in a 24/7 shift-based temperature-controlled (0C) environment tomaintainservice excellence.

• Hands-on experience in mechanical/industrial maintenance backed by a relevant trade qualification or equivalentexpertise

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills across mechanical electrical and automated systems (including PLCs)

• Commitment to safety quality and compliance in regulated or food-grade environments

• Effective communicator and team player with the ability to collaborate across teams and work independently

• Reliable proactive and adaptable withawillingness to work shifts in low-temperature and physically demanding environments

• Comfortable working at heights while using full fall protection equipment safely and effectively.
