Field Service Technician II Albany, NY

As a Field Service Technician II here at Honeywell you will provide essential technical support and service for HVAC fire alarm and access control systems. You will apply your basic troubleshooting skills and low-voltage experience to maintain and repair critical building systems ensuring safety and operational efficiency for our customers.

You will report directly to our Service Manager and youll work out of our local Honeywell customer facility in Albany NY.

In this role you will impact the safety comfort and security of our customers environments by delivering reliable service and maintenance for vital building control systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repair of HVAC fire alarm and access control systems.
• Utilize basic control and low-voltage skills to diagnose and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members and customers to ensure timely and effective service delivery.
• Follow company policies safety procedures and regulatory requirements during all service activities.

YOU MUST HAVE

• 1 or more years of experience in field service with a focus on HVAC or fire alarm or access control systems OR Technical diploma or degree in a related field.
• Basic troubleshooting skills and knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems.
• Familiarity with basic control systems and their operation.
• Ability to work independently and follow technical instructions accurately.

The annual base salary range for this position is $43000 - $53700. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
