Quality Improvement Project Officer
Job Summary
About the role
The Quality Improvement Project Officer is responsible for supporting quality improvement(QI) within primary care. This includes support with Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA)Cycles underpinned by identified practice needs and data. You will apply project managementmethodologies to build primary care practice capability for data driven QIadoption of digital health innovations and for integration across the healthsystem. You will also play a key role in identifying issues and challengeswithin primary care.
This permanent full-time role will work collaboratively with our Education Lead andGP Advisor to develop educational events that address our identified areas of need and supportongoing training for primary care staff.
About the team
Reporting to the Manager Quality Improvement you will be part of the QI Team that sitsunder the Primary Care Integration Business Unit working closely with the primary care workforce across the sector and across all Business Units within CHN. The teams core focus is to supportprimary care in the ACT in data driven continuous quality improvement activities delivering high quality education and fostering networking and integration opportunities to deliver person-centred care at the right time andat the right place.

You will work collaboratively with the QI team using your highly developed problem-solvingskills to develop innovative resources and solutions to promote continuous quality improvement in primary care. Your strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement will enable you to build relationships with general practices and other primary care providers to support their continuous quality improvement activities including the adoption of digital health technologies. Usingpractice performance data along with stakeholder feedback you will identify and analyse key challenges within the primary care and broader health sector and develop innovativeresources and data-driven solutions that strengthen service delivery improvehealth outcomes and align with CHN priorities.
This is an exciting time with changes occurring in how communities seek and receive primary care. As a member of the QI Team you will have the opportunity to support primary care in particular general practices as they implement new initiatives announced as part of the Strengthening Medicare Taskforce Report the 10-Year Primary Health Care Plan and the National PHN Allied Health in Primary Care Engagement Framework. Your ability to develop and implementprojects will see you contributing to the CHN Strategic Plan.

Work location
This position is based in our newly renovated and modern office located in the heart of the Belconnen town centre. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy to work with the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.
