Master Electrician

LK Jordan is currently seeking experienced Master Electrician that specialize in the installation maintenance and repair of electrical systems related to swimming pools spas and hot tubs in commercial/residential environments while ensuring compliance with NEC and state codes. This position will manage the electrician team schedule work and order inventory for the electrical department with a focus on safety in wet environments. Pay rate can go up to $40 hourly based on experience!

$1000 Sign on Bonus for those that qualify!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Company safety policies and procedures

• Manage the electrician team schedule and assign work to team members and order inventory and supplies for the department.

• Clean gather and transport materials to electricians on the construction site

• Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members

• Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues customers and vendors

• Drive yourself to job sites with a Company Vehicle

• Install repair maintenance and testing of commercial and residential electrical systems in full support of the Company. safety operations and productivity initiatives

• Maintain workflow schedule to ensure Company productivity objectives are met

• Splice and terminate wires at junction points

• Use industry-related hand tools and power tools under supervision

• Work on measuring cutting bending threading and installing wire and electrical cable and conduit systems

• Work with wires and cables within control centers distribution boxes transformers transducers switch gear receptacles switches etc.

• Additional duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision

• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment and how to safely use them

• Familiar with aspects of operation maintenance and repair of electrical systems

• Knowledge of electrical theory basic circuits branch circuits and specialty systems

• Knowledge of magnetic induction three-phase transformers conductors and wiring methods.

• Strong work ethic with excellent attendance

• The ability to read and understand electrical single-line blueprints

• Ability to manage and lead a team of electricians

Education Licensing and Experience:

• A valid Master Electrician License is required

• Required valid state-issued drivers license with a driving record that meets the Companys fleet insurability standards

Physical Requirements:

• Fully squat stoop or kneel while wearing a 25 lb tool belt

• Lift 50 lbs from the ground and pull 50 lbs of force

• Maintain a standing position for long periods while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires

• Perform ladder climbing wire pulling and conduit pulling

• Work off of ladders man lifts or reach booms

• Able to work in outdoor environments for extended periods
