MS&T Accelerator Supervisor

• Oversees and leads production accelerator troubleshooting and process improvement projects ensuring technical robustness and reproducibility
• Leads day-to-day technical execution of the Manufacturing Science & Techology Accelerator team
• Supports cGMP readiness and process qualification for radioisotope manufacturing production
• Collaborates with the Production Quality R&D and Engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of process improvements
• Conducts troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production and MS&T issues.
• Maintain compliance with all cGMP and radiation safety procedures
• Supports preparation and review of technical documentation including SOPs batch records process descriptions and validation protocols
• Sets KPIs communicates key program updates and drives improvements in quality safety and productivity to ensure KPIs are met
• Leads all operational efforts and identifies process improvements to increase efficiency and support strategic growth
• Leads and inspires a diverse team of skilled professionals

• Bachelors degree in Physics Nuclear Engineering or related field
• 6 years experience operating in accelerator operations environment including hands-on experience with the following:
  • Accelerator systems
  • Radioactive material
  • Routine production environment
  • Regulated environment
• 3 years of supervisory experience including day-to-day activities of a team of 6 or more with demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams establish career development tracks and succession planning

• Masters degree in mechanical engineering or related field or equivalent industry experience
• 8 years experience operating in accelerator operations
• AnchorHands-on experience utilizing lean manufacturing principles for continuous process improvements and/or certification (Six Sigma Lean Manufacturing 5S)
• Familiarity with process transfer or scale-up between R&D and cGMP manufacturing
• Formal training/application of Project Management
• 5 years of supervisory experience including day-to-day activities of a team of 8 or more with demonstrated ability to build cohesive teams establish career development tracks and succession planning

• Full-time position
• The companys standard operating hours are Monday thru Friday 6:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. with production related activities requiring 24/7/365 shifts
• This position will have regular working hours Monday - Friday within the standard operating hours
• There is an expectation of adjusting working hours outside the standard hours to meet operational requirements
• Niowave has multiple locations within the Lansing area and travel between locations is expected in the role
