Dash Social is looking for a self-motivated and adaptable Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Payroll and Benefits and working closely with Finance and People Operations you will ensure the Dash Social team is compensated accurately and on time. You will also administer benefits and provide administrative support across the full employee lifecycle. - Payroll Processing and Benefits Administration
- Complete timely and accurate global payroll processing on a semi-monthly or monthly basis for all employees (CDN/US/UK).
- Contribute to the employee experience through every stage of employment through benefit and payroll administration and support.
- Research and stay up to date on contracts payment processes and country specifics for contractors and freelancers.
- Research and stay up to date on laws and regulations at a federal and provincial level for protected leaves employee benefits and tax legislations to ensure compliance.
- Work with external payroll providers to constantly improve our processes and procedures.
- Suggest improvements to our processes that will enhance the employee experience and remove redundancies.
- Administer the company RRSPs and 401K benefits.
- Ensure ROEs are completed accurately and on time.
- Prepare semi-monthly monthly quarterly and annual reporting as required.
- Support all year-end activities including T-4 and W-2 reporting and reconciliations.
Supporting People Operations
- Maintain current and accurate employment information in HRIS. This includes information related to payroll and compensation benefits job employment status etc.
- Draft compensation letters employment agreements and various HR letters for employees.
- Ensure seamless and efficient onboarding and offboarding experience for all employees supporting a positive journey at Dash and maintaining compliance with organizational processes.
- Additional projects and administrative support as needed.
Supporting Finance
- Provide support in payroll related audit requests.
- Partner with the Accounting team to drive accurate and timely completion of all payroll account reconciliation and accruals.

Desired Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- Youre organized detail-oriented and self-motivated.
- Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and interpersonal skills when handling sensitive and confidential data.
- Experience working in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Knowledge in Canadian (cross-provincial) and US (cross-state) payroll and benefits legislation is considered an asset.
- Payroll certification or working towards certification.
- Experience with SimplePay and Gusto are a plus.
