Job Summary

At CTS we put quality customer experience and innovation at the center of everything we do. Were looking for a strategic customer-focused Business Development Manager to lead growth within an assigned business segment.
Reporting to the Site General Manager this role owns commercial strategy sales execution and customer relationships- while building and leading a high-performing sales team.
What Youll Be Doing
  • Develop and execute sales and market strategies to achieve short and long-term revenue goals.
  • Identify new markets applications and growth opportunities through ongoing industry and customer analysis.
  • Lead develop and manage the sales team (Sales Engineers Inside Sales etc.)
  • Manage key new and existing customer relationships and establish long-term agreements.
  • Oversee quotations pricing strategy margins and commercial terms.
  • Track sales performance against forecasts and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Promote CTS technologies and capabilities through customer visits trade shows and targeted marketing efforts.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering operations quality and inside sales to resolve issues and deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive dynamics impacting the business segment.
  • Travel extensively to customer locations (approximately 50%).
About You
  • 18 years of age and ability to pass background & drug screening
  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR/EAR
  • Bachelors degree preferably in Business Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience
  • 5 years of sales and marketing experience (manufacturing or industrial services preferred) or
  • 10 years of sales experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Thermal spray or surface engineering experience strongly preferred
