Portfolio Manager Commercial Banking

Key Accountabilities

• Analyze financial statements credit requests and client performance to evaluate lending opportunities and risk.

• Manage portfolio administration activities while ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines.

• Partner with Relationship Managers to support and strengthen commercial client relationships.

• Monitor portfolio performance repayment activity and overall credit quality to proactively manage risk.

• Recommend loan structures and participate in the loan approval and renewal process.

• Identify and refer cross-sell opportunities across Treasury Management Private Banking Capital Markets and other banking services.

• Collaborate with internal partners and credit teams to deliver responsive high-quality client service.

• Participate in community and business activities to strengthen market presence and build professional relationships.

Please Note: This position can also be hired as a Portfolio Manager VP or SVP. We will assess applicants based on their skills and years of relevant experience.

Education & Experience

Required

• Bachelors degree in Business Finance Accounting or related field or equivalent experience

• 2 years of experience in Commercial Banking Commercial Real Estate Corporate Banking Specialized Banking or Credit Approval

• 2 years of experience handling complex commercial credits

• Reliable transportation and ability to lawfully drive if applicable

Preferred

• 1 years of sales experience

• 1 years of formal credit training

• Experience building and managing commercial client relationships

• Strong communication financial analysis and relationship management skills
