The Ashtabula County Educational Service Center has a position open for a Part-Time Technology Coordinator

Job Summary
The Technology Coordinator will manage maintain and secure the districts information technology infrastructure. This roleis focused on core IT services network management hardware support and daily helpdesk operations. The ideal candidate
is a proactive problem-solver with expertise in managing the diverse technologies typical of a modern K-12 environment.

Required Qualifications:
Three years of experience in IT systems or network administration preferred
Hands-on experience managing the specific technologies listed: Active Directory Google Workspace Networking Gearetc.
Experience in helpdesk management and providing direct end-user technical support
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills both technical and non-technical to interact effectively with all members of the schoolcommunity (students teachers administrators vendors)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
IT Operations and Helpdesk Management
Manage the daily operations of the districts IT helpdesk prioritizing support tickets and ensuring timely resolution oftechnical issues for staff and students
Develop and enforce service level agreements (SLAs) for technical support
Oversee the deployment management inventory and lifecycle of end-user devices including Chromebooks iPads andMicrosoft Windows computers
Administer and maintain core infrastructure services
Manage network components including CISCO Switches and Wireless LAN (WLAN) environment
Oversee the LAN (Local Area Network) infrastructure
Implement and manage cybersecurity measures including anti-virus software and firewalls to protect district data andsystems

Hardware & Peripheral Management:

Install configure and maintain various classroom technologies including interactive panels projectors and multi-function printers (MFDs)
Manage specialized district systems camera DVRs for surveillance and VOIP phone systems for communication

Software & Platform Management:
Administer device management platforms
Provide support for standard productivity software including the Microsoft Office suite
Coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs software licensing agreements and procurement of newtechnology assets

Planning and Compliance:
Assist in the development and implementation of the districts technology plan and budget with a focus on infrastructurereliability and security
Ensure all technology operations comply with relevant educational regulations including data privacy laws (e.g. FERPACOPPA)

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Primarily indoors in a school environment
Ability to lift and move computer equipment including servers switches and peripherals (up to 50 pounds)
Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for system maintenance and upgrades
Occasional exposure to blood bodily fluids and tissue
Occasional interaction among unruly children
Occasional requirement to travel
Occasional evening/weekend/summer work
Frequent requirement to sit stand walk talk hear see read speak reach stretch with hands and arms crouch climbkneel and stoop
