Job Summary

Contract Length: Long-term with annual extensions

Position Overview:
This position supports enterprise operational excellence initiatives by leading business process improvement efforts facilitating cross-functional collaboration and driving process modernization across multiple program areas. The role partners closely with leadership and stakeholders to document current operations identify opportunities for efficiency and implement sustainable governance and performance management practices.

Duties:
  • Lead process discovery analysis and documentation efforts aligned with organizational modernization initiatives.
  • Facilitate cross-functional workshops and planning sessions to identify operational inefficiencies redundancies and process risks.
  • Develop current-state and future-state process maps gap analyses and actionable process improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with leadership to prioritize initiatives based on strategic impact feasibility and organizational goals.
  • Support the development and implementation of governance structures process ownership models and accountability frameworks.
  • Create performance metrics dashboards and reporting templates to support operational excellence objectives.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations status updates reports and strategic recommendations for leadership stakeholders.
  • Assist with implementation planning organizational change management activities and process adoption strategies.
  • Produce clear organized and sustainable documentation for long-term internal operational use.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment efforts and track decisions risks dependencies and outstanding action items.
  • Develop change management materials including communication plans training guides and stakeholder engagement resources.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma BPM or similar frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • 3 years of demonstrated experience leading business process improvement initiatives.
  • 3 years of experience leading projects managing teams or coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical organizational and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in complex organizational environments.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide or multi-program process redesign and optimization initiatives.
  • Strong facilitation experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholder teams.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing Lean Six Sigma BPM or comparable process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience producing professional-grade process documentation executive-level deliverables and strategic reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working within state government or public-sector agency environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as Lean Six Sigma PMP or similar professional credentials.
