Hours/Days: 37.5 hours per week186 days (9.5 months)
Hourly Rate: $23.50 per hour

Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing basic first aid that incorporates health promotion and disease prevention for students and families. Follow written orders of County Health Officer in providing daily care to ill or injured students. Maintain student records and administer medications. Perform state-mandated screenings and prepare reports as required by the State of Indiana. Insist on developing school health programs for all students in the building. Identify health problems and recommend appropriate follow-up to parents. Additional duties may be assigned to the nurse by the Director of Social and Student Services.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Licensed as a practical nurse in accordance with the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
- Possess and maintain valid drivers license with the state of Indiana.
- Computer knowledge is required.
