About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker you will provide direct personcentred support to clients across daily living community participation social engagement and skill development. You will promote independence choice dignity and meaningful connection always guided by each clients NDIS goals.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Building trusting meaningful relationships with clients and their support networks
  • Facilitating community inclusion participation and skillbuilding activities aligned with client goals
  • Supporting positive behaviour and following each clients Positive Behaviour Support Plan (PBSP) where required
  • Providing personal care and domestic assistance when needed
  • Maintaining clear factual progress notes and communication to ensure seamless support between workers
  • Upholding Annies House policies NDIS Code of Conduct and WHS procedures at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or other relevant qualification or working towards completion within 12 months
  • Current drivers license and reliable roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check Police Check and/or Working with Children Check
