About Us: The Southern Vet Group consists of three modern well-equipped clinics including two ASAV-accredited hospitals located in the beautiful southern suburbs of Adelaide. Our clinics support a high caseload of medical surgical emergency and rehabilitation cases as well as the Adelaide Koala and Wildlife Centre. With a large experienced teammany of whom have been with us for 5-10 yearswe pride ourselves on teamwork learning and delivering top-tier veterinary care.

What we can offer you:

• Base salary $80-130k (commensurate with experience and skill set) Super
• Paid for every minute you work. Included 1.5-2 hours per shift for case management phone calls and write-ups plus a paid 40-minute meal break
• Overtime & Professional Fees: Paid in the event of emergency surgery after closing because your time and expertise are valued!
• Amazing work life balance. We know that you work to live not live to work and thats how it should be. We run a 9-day work fortnight. An example of what a weeks roster may look like:
• 1x surgery shift (10 hours)
• 1x consult shift (8 hours)
• 2x afternoon shifts (7.5 hours) that dont start until 2:30pm giving you extra personal time in the mornings 1
• 1x weekend day shift (10 hours) a fortnight
• A standard fortnight is 76 hours.

• Youll be paired with a mentor to help you when you start
• Skilled nursing team to support your day-to-day workflow

What you need:

• DVM or equivalent veterinary qualification
• Eligibility for Veterinary Surgeons Board of SA registration
• Commitment to providing gold-standard animal care
• Excellent interpersonal skills for building strong client relationships
• Passion for growing your medical surgical and diagnostic imaging expertise
