The Neurology Account Executive is responsible for growing current business and targeting and securing profitable new business by building relationships opening new business and driving new sales growth in diagnostics. The Neurology Account Executive has call point ownership of certain accounts. Quest Diagnostics offers innovative tests for Alzheimers disease spinal muscular atrophy and other neuromuscular and developmental disorders.

This is a field-based sales position covering Georgia and Southern Alabama.



Responsibilities
  • Drive sales through pre-call planning post-call analysis and consistent follow-up
  • Target and secure new business in the Neurology therapeutic area
  • Provide overall support and expertise to new & existingaccounts
  • Increase discretionary business through insuranceaccess
  • Partner with and notify Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when face-to-face or extensive service isrequired
  • Provide immediate support for less complexissues
  • Leverage all tools and resources (including data sales portal target lists; Marketing DepartmentLaboratory resources and regional or national resources as needed)
  • Maintain a breadth of knowledge of all connectivity
  • Prepare and present proposals andbids
  • Ensure compliance with company polices and governmentregulations
  • Complete all administrative tasks thoroughly andpromptly
  • 50% - 75% travel
  • Specialist practices(Neurology) as well as PCPs
  • Hospital Specialist Practices


Qualifications

Required WorkExperience:

  • Three or more years of sales experience in selling business to business with a history of documented sales success.
  • Prior responsibility for closing new business and expanding existingrelationships
  • Prefer experience in healthcare laboratory and/or diagnostics sales selling to medical professionals (Neurology)

Skills:

  • Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships; strong planning and organizationalskills
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
  • Solid PC skill including Microsoft Software.
  • Hunter mentality a must!


Education:

  • Bachelors Degree (Required)
