Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA / T-CNA) to join a skilled nursing and long-term care team for a night shift contract assignment. This role involves providing direct resident care supporting nursing staff and helping maintain a safe comfortable and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing dressing grooming toileting feeding and mobility assistance.
• Measure and document vital signs and report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly.
• Support resident comfort and safety through repositioning transfers and ambulation assistance.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and care requests.
• Assist nursing staff with routine patient care and clinical support tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and patient care areas.
• Follow infection prevention safety and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
• Deliver compassionate care while promoting resident dignity comfort and respect.

Qualifications

• Active CNA or Temporary CNA (T-CNA) certification required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Previous experience in long-term care rehabilitation or skilled nursing settings preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong communication teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
