Job Summary
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at contracted & non-contracted hospitals healthcare facilities and agencies within assigned territory. This position is charged with researching and resolving problems at the customer level throughout the assigned region. This position requires familiarity with county EMS regulations industry competition hospital departments healthcare systems and how they relate to patient transportation. Must also be familiar with territory industry trends. Must have a clear understanding of NORCAL company policies & procedures and be able to highlight company philosophy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Build & maintain a loyal solution-based relationship with territory hospital stakeholders leadership and staff to ensure all transport needs are being met.
Growth: Ensure non-contracted hospitals are aware of the benefits of contracting with NORCAL
Foresee transport issues before they arise and plan accordingly.
Expectations:
Plan and execute growth & maintenance strategies that align with territory business plan; build and maintain relationships with key account personnel & leadership. Establish credibility with client stakeholders and NORCAL leadership to initiate internal & external process improvement for superior customer experience.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. This position is based out of the assigned territorys local ambulance stations & offices.
2. Assist NORCAL management to create and follow assigned territory growth plan.
3. Partner with company leadership to develop implementation plan for growth opportunities
4. Build and maintain positive relationships with hospital staff key stakeholders and leadership at current clients and targeted health facilities in assigned territory.
5. Relay department specific communication to appropriate internal departments
6. Track and measure transport volume trends in assigned facilities & territory
7. Follow company defined stand-by business process & procedure
8. Make adjustments changes and recommendations according to fluctuating trends in transport volume
9. Report all client interactions (phone email text visits meetings in-services) in designated CRM
10. Understand internal roles & responsibilities for team in assigned territory.
11. Coordinate facility in-service training regarding NORCAL services & solutions
12. Work alongside all departments in contract maintenance
13. Follow department budget / expense guidelines as defined in allowance policy
14. Participate in community organizations and events in assigned territory
15. Act as a customer advocate in resolving client issues
Other duties as assigned
Compensation:
- Salary: $75000 - $100000 commensurate with experience in business development &/or EMS
- Quarterly Performance Bonus

Hours of work:
As a salaried employee you are expected to maintain an average workload of 40 hours per week. This work typically is conducted during normal business hours Monday-Friday; however you will be expected to respond to problems and concerns outside of those hours as needed should the need arise.
Reporting relationship:
You will report directly to the Vice President of Business Development.
