Job Description

• 6-month contract with a key Commonwealth Government agency
• This role is based in Canberra ACT
• Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance required
• Opportunity to shape data architecture and governance standards

An Australian Government agency is partnering with Resolve Recruit and is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support the implementation of a new Enterprise Data Platform (EDP). This contract role reports to a senior data leader and works closely with a System Integrator ICT cyber security data governance teams and business stakeholders.

You will translate approved EDP requirements into implementationready data architecture and provide architecture governance and delivery assurance throughout the build and transition phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate EDP requirements into implementationready data architecture
• Define conformed dimensions canonical entities and integration patterns
• Design fact and event models to support reporting and analytics needs
• Establish bronze silver and gold data layer standards
• Review solution designs and delivery artefacts for alignment to architecture security and compliance requirements
• Produce architecture standards artefacts and documentation to support delivery and sustainment

Key Experience and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience as a Data Architect on largescale data platform implementations specifically with Databricks
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data modelling including dimensional fact and event models
• Experience designing medallion (bronze/silver/gold) data architectures
• Proven ability to provide architecture governance and assurance in delivery environments
• Experience working with system integrators and multidisciplinary stakeholder groups
