Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with the testing inspection and basic maintenance of fire suppression systems including wet dry pre-action deluge and special hazard systems.

• Support the inspection of valves gauges piping sprinkler heads alarm connections and related suppression system components.

• Use hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.

• Help perform basic functional testing and visual inspections of suppression systems.

• Assist with documenting inspection results deficiencies and job site conditions.

• Follow all company safety procedures customer site requirements and applicable codes and standards.

• Maintain tools equipment and vehicles in clean and proper working condition.

• Communicate professionally with customers team members and supervisors.

• Travel to job sites as required.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• No minimum experience necessary.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn fire suppression systems.

• Ability to follow instructions and work under direct supervision.

• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.

• Ability to work effectively in team environments.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting climbing ladders and working in various environments.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

• Work performed in commercial industrial and construction environments.

• Exposure to varying conditions including heights confined spaces and active job sites.

• Use of hand tools and testing equipment under supervision.

• Ability to stand walk bend and kneel for extended periods.
