We are seeking a skilled and motivated Fire Engineer with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects contributing to high-quality fire safety engineering solutions across multiple sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver fire engineering designs and solutions in line with project requirements and applicable standards.
Conduct fire risk assessments and compliance evaluations.
Prepare technical reports and liaise with clients architects and regulatory authorities.
Ensure all designs meet relevant codes standards and best practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Proficiency in Fire Rational Designs (performance-based design) in accordance with BS 7974.
Experience in Deemed-to-Satisfy Fire Plans including:
SANS 10400-T SANS 10400-W SANS 10400-S SANS 10400-M SANS 10252 SANS 10131 SANS 10139 SANS 10087 SANS 10089.
Design experience in Wet and Dry Fire Suppression Systems in accordance with ASIB SANS 10287 NFPA and FM Global standards.
Exposure to special risk applications including transformers and Lithium-ion Battery Energy Storage Systems (Li-BESS).
Experience in Smoke Ventilation Design in line with EN 12101.
Good understanding of ECSA Stages 16.
Proven experience in fire risk and compliance assessments.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Civil or related discipline).
35 years of relevant fire engineering experience.
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
