Physical Therapist Plano West
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team in Plano TX. In this role you will make a meaningful difference in patients lives by developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that restore function reduce pain and promote independence. You will work in a collaborative patient-centered environment where your clinical expertise empathy and commitment to excellence are valued and supported.
- Conduct comprehensive physical assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans aligned with patient goals and physician recommendations
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to address patient impairments and functional limitations
- Educate patients and their families about their conditions treatment plans and home exercise programs to promote active participation in recovery
- Maintain detailed accurate and timely documentation of all patient evaluations treatment sessions and progress notes in compliance with clinical standards
- Collaborate effectively with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated high-quality patient care
- Monitor patient progress adjust treatment plans as needed and communicate outcomes with the healthcare team
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements documentation standards and organizational policies
- Demonstrate professional growth through continued learning and staying current with best practices in physical therapy
Qualifications :
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Program
- Current Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong clinical assessment evaluation and treatment planning skills
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and documentation software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to educate and motivate patients
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity required for patient care delivery
- Problem-solving and analytical abilities to adapt treatment approaches based on patient response
- Preferred: Prior experience in outpatient home health or clinical physical therapy settings
- Preferred: Experience with diverse patient populations and various diagnoses
