Job Summary

For our Tires sector we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Operations Counsel (m/f/diverse) with a qualification as Syndikusrechtsanwalt/-anwältin to join our Legal Operations team. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining comprehensive worldwide applicable legal standards and policies that align with internal and external rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will ensure consistency and compliance across all jurisdictions monitor changes in international laws and provide expert legal advice to the organization. Your tasks will include the following activities: 

  • Standardization of legal counselling and legal advice on a global scale
  • Contract management and independent contract negotiations 
  • Identifying and analyzing legal risks developing and implementing solutions to avoid limit or secure these
  • Project management lead (including project planning execution implementation and trainings)
  • Responsibility for legal tech tools (including analysis and recommendation of legal technology needs and solutions)
  • Leading strategic legal initiatives
  • Communication and cross-functional collaboration with (Senior) Management
  • Developing and conducting workshops and training sessions in German as well as in English

Qualifications :

  • Academic degree in law preferable a fully qualified lawyer (m/f/diverse)
  • Long-term experience in commercial law preferably within an international environment
  • Strong knowledge of German commercial law and international business law
  • Superior contract drafting and negotiation abilities preferably with strong experiences in an international environment
  • Capability to standardize purchasing and sales terms and conditions
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop practical solutions
  • Strong project management skills (including functional leadership experience)
  • High affinity to legal tech tools
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Structured and analytical thinking
