DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answeringhigh volume ofincoming phone calls fromdonorsand discussing needs whilemaintaininggreat customer/donorrelations
• Handling and resolving a variety ofdonorconcerns complaints and questions by phoneemailand mail
• Resolving problems by clarifying issues researching exploring answers/alternative solutions implementing solutions and escalating unresolved issues
• Maintainingdonorrecords by updating account information
• Performing outbound calls tosupport the fund development team by thanking donors for donations as well asseekingto promote campaigns to increase donations and funds received
• Continuallymaintainworking knowledge of allprogramsservicesand donations needsforallMustard Seed city locations
• Other duties as may be assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Post-secondary education with preference given to an applicant with experienceworking ina non-profitofficeenvironment
• Proficiencyin Microsoft office programs specifically data entry
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to systematically solve problems and offer solutions
• Superior interpersonal skillsdiscernmentgoodlisteningand negotiation skills
• Outstanding time management skills motivated to work in a fast-paced environment and with the ability to comfortably work simultaneously on multiple projects.
• Exceptionalwritten and oralcommunicationskillsand fluency in English
• Self-motivated and ability to work independentlyas well an ability toparticipatein collaboration with the team
• Demonstrates drive and initiative toaccomplishresults
• Experience in a Call Center or variation of an asset
• Customer servicemarketingand customer relational salesexperience is an asset
• Experience with CRMs and soft phone softwaresuch as Salesforce andNatterboxpreferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Sitting/Standingforlong periodsof time at a desk
• Moderate physical effort isrequiredto successfullyaccomplishthe essential job functions such astaking calls via soft phonekeyboarding to word process documents and entering data into Salesforce
