Job Summary
Seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Chief Financial Officer to join the executive leadership team of a rapidly expanding insurance organization. Reporting directly to the President this individual will play a critical role in driving financial strategy operational scalability long-term growth initiatives and overall organizational CFO will help guide the organization through its next phase of expansion including both organic growth and acquisition activity while enhancing financial infrastructure operational efficiency and enterprise value.
Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support profitability operational scalability and long-term organizational growth.
- Provide insight into revenue performance operational metrics margin trends compensation structures and overall business performance across the organization.
- Support and help execute strategic growth initiatives including acquisition activity financial analysis valuation modeling capital planning and post-transaction integration efforts.
- Manage relationships with banking and financial partners while helping maintain appropriate liquidity leverage and capital allocation strategies.
- Build and enhance financial processes reporting capabilities systems and internal controls to support a rapidly evolving and growth-oriented organization.
- Improve analytics standardized reporting and scalable operational infrastructure to support long-term organizational growth.
- Support ownership planning succession-related initiatives valuation processes and long-term equity and value realization strategies.
- Help create sustainable frameworks that support employee retention leadership continuity and long-term organizational independence.
- Oversee financial reporting audit coordination and compliance efforts to ensure accuracy transparency and adherence to applicable financial and regulatory standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with external partners advisors and stakeholders.
- Lead budgeting forecasting and long-term financial modeling processes to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop scenario planning and performance analysis tied to growth initiatives investments operational priorities and organizational planning efforts.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required.
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience within a growth-oriented organization.
- Strong experience with financial operations strategic planning and organizational scaling initiatives.
- Demonstrated exposure to M&A activity including financial diligence valuation integration and post-acquisition reporting.
- Experience managing lender investor or capital partner relationships preferred.
- Strong analytical operational and strategic leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance high-level strategy and operational execution.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $275000 - $300000
- Bonus Opportunity: 20%
