HEAD OF TAX (FMD)

We are looking for a Head of Tax who will standardise tax practices across jurisdictions strengthen tax risk management and provide high-quality tax support for strategic decision-making. If that speaks to you wed be happy to welcome you to our team!

You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Developing and implementing the Groups tax strategy tax policies and consistent standards across all Group entities (LT LV EE PL FI)
- Ensuring robust tax risk management and compliance with local tax legislation by designing and embedding internal controls and processes
- Driving tax planning initiatives and managing the effective (and compliant) optimisation of the Groups tax position
- Establishing and overseeing transfer pricing governance across the Group (policy risk assessment documentation pricing principles)
- Monitoring and assessing changes in tax legislation in Poland Latvia Estonia and Finland and proactively initiating necessary actions
- Providing tax analysis and recommendations to support strategic business decisions (transactions reorganisations expansion investments)
- Coordinating interactions with tax authorities auditors and external advisers; managing audits reviews and disputes
- Reducing reliance on external advisers by planning their involvement managing costs and ensuring quality
- Leading the team: setting objectives planning and prioritising work and supporting capability development
Qualifications :
- University degree in finance economics law or a related field
- 57 years of tax experience (in-house and/or advisory); international group exposure is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of corporate income tax VAT and other key taxes; experience across multiple jurisdictions (Baltics/Poland/Finland) is a strong advantage
- Hands-on experience with transfer pricing (processes documentation risk management cross-functional collaboration)
- Ability to build and implement group-wide processes and standards shifting from operational to strategic centralised governance
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (senior management finance teams legal external partners)
- Fluent English (written and spoken).
