Job Summary
KCR Solutions are pleased to be partnering with a leading organisation in Newcastle to appoint an Accounting & Financial Reporting Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a varied and client-facing role where youll support a portfolio of international clients while overseeing key finance activities and contributing to the ongoing development of the team and processes.
Our client will welcome applications from qualified part-qualified or QBE accountants who are looking to take on a broad hands-on position within a supportive and flexible working environment.
You will play a central role in delivering high-quality accounting support and ensuring the smooth running of client finance operations while also providing guidance to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of multinational clients including those within the technology and pharmaceutical sectors
- Deliver management accounts and VAT returns accurately and within deadlines
- Support and supervise junior staff responsible for bank reconciliations and ledger postings
- Maintain oversight of accounts payable processes invoicing and general ledger accuracy
- Ensure timely resolution of client queries and smooth delivery of finance services
- Develop strong working relationships with clients maintaining a high level of service quality
- Contribute to process improvements enhancing efficiency across the team
About You
- Fully qualified part-qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Strong experience within management accounts and finance operations
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- A proactive team-oriented individual with strong communication skills
- Able to manage a varied workload and work effectively across multiple clients
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify improvements and opportunities
