Trainee Paralegal
Job Summary
- Assist the Head of Legal in embedding privacy into the product development lifecycle minimising operational privacy risks and supporting the implementation of new internal processes arising from legislative changes.
- Conduct training raise awareness on privacy matters and help coordinate responses to compliance queries.
- Draft negotiate and/or review commercial contracts marketing materials leases and agreements for our UK entities including liaison with external advisors.
- Draft and update contract templates Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policies.
- Support the team in managing and tracking ongoing matters deadlines and regulatory updates.
Qualifications :
- LLB law degree. We offer genuine career progression via the SQE route.
- Minimum 6 months of paralegal experience (preferably in-house) with background in data protection and commercial contracts; in-house technology experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements including GDPR PECR and other applicable frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills strong analytical and problem-solving abilities high attention to detail and a can do attitude with appetite to learn.
- Willingness to work in a dynamic fast-paced international environment.
