Job Summary

The Governors seek to appoint an EYFS Leader from 1st September 2026. (MPS/UPS TLR2a).

St Josephs is a thriving Catholic Community. We have happy children and a dedicated friendly and supportive staff team. St Josephs is a good school which offers a good Catholic education for its pupils (Diocesan Inspection June 2023).

We are looking to appoint an experienced outstanding classroom practitioner to lead our EYFS. The position is a full-time permanent role from September 2026.

We have a 60 place Nursery along with a PAN of 45 for Reception. Our EYFS has a large well-resourced indoor and outdoor learning environment and our children are eager and willing to learn.

The successful candidate will need to have the ability to stimulate and challenge children of all abilities as well as demonstrate positive behaviour management. They will be flexible enthusiastic and have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills in order to achieve the best possible outcome for all our return we can offer you a highly committed staff a supportive senior leadership team and a welcoming wider school community.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children. The successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and will follow a stringent vetting and induction process.
