Mortgage Originations, Product Manager Principal (Remote)

The Mortgage Originations Product Manager Principal role is a senior mortgage industry product leader who brings deep credibility across mortgage credit underwriting workflows and industry standards. You will lead innovation and modernization efforts across Experians mortgage originations products while stewarding existing missioncritical solutions.

You will represent Experian with clients resellers and industry organizations including in forums such as MISMO and will be expected to speak fluently about how mortgage credit data is used governed and operationalized across the mortgage ecosystem.

You bring deep mortgage and credit expertise and can translate that knowledge into scalable realworld products used by mortgage lenders and partners. You understand the complexity of the U.S. housing and mortgage landscape including how regulations standards and governance processes shape what products can be built and how they are delivered.

You will apply your market and domain expertise to serve both direct lender and reseller clients. You will provide solutions that improve underwriting outcomes mitigate risk for lenders and investors and advance the industry toward more modern efficient practices. You understand the full mortgage lifecycle and its key stakeholders and ensure products are designed to serve the needs of the broader ecosystem.

You will own the product vision and strategy. You will identify gaps and opportunities within the existing portfolio. You will lead the endtoend launch of new solutions in partnership with multiple Experian business units including Product Development Sales Marketing and Client Services. As the CEO of your product area you are the most knowledgeable person in the room. You have expertise in how your products operate how they are used their downstream industry impact competitive positioning and financial performance.

Experian Mortgage operates within a highly matrixed environment. You must be comfortable partnering with leaders across Product Engineering Finance Sales Legal Compliance Marketing and the Executive Team.

Your success will measure itself by product adoption revenue growth client satisfaction and Experians establishment of its position as a trusted mortgage credit partner in the industry.

What You Bring:

• Mortgage Credit Expert Use credit data and scores and hands-on across mortgage workflows including underwriting pricing eligibility risk assessment compliance and secondary market considerations.
• Product Leader Experience leading the endtoend launch of complex regulated mortgage products across both direct lender and reseller / channel models.
• Collaborator Strong relationship builder who connects ideas and partners across internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Curious Inquisitive and forwardlooking with a willingness to challenge traditional approaches while balancing practical constraints.
• Determined Persistent optimistic and committed to meaningfully improving how mortgage products are built and delivered.

Responsibilities:

• Define and execute product strategies that differentiate Experians mortgage credit solutions and drive revenue growth.
• Represent Experian in mortgage industry forums working groups and standards bodies (e.g. MISMO) contributing thought leadership and strengthening industry credibility.
• Lead the planning and execution of complex product launches including positioning client readiness sales enablement onboarding and adoption.
• Partner with Sales on gotomarket strategies joint selling efforts and product training.
• Engage senior leaders at Experian as well as clients resellers and partners to build confidence in product strategy and execution.
• Apply market intelligence and P&L analysis to prioritize investments and support target account and market strategies.
• Ensure products operate within appropriate regulatory and compliance guardrails across a diverse client base including startups credit unions large financial institutions GSEs regulators and resellers.
• Lead Voice of the Customer engagements and drive product messaging and positioning.
• Travel up to 15% to support client engagements industry events and internal meetings. If you are located outside of Southern California travel may be slightly higher to accommodate meetings at our North America headquarters.

You will report to Experians Vice President of Product Management.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree
• 12 years of product management experience delivering products across the full lifecycle
• 5 years of deep experience in consumer credit within the mortgage industry including products delivered through direct and reseller channels
• Executive presence with the ability to influence amid regulatory market and organizational complexity
• Experience operating effectively within large matrixed organizations
• Define business strategy and mobilize crossfunctional teams toward shared outcomes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay range for this position is listed above. Within this range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills experience and education. This position is also eligible for a variable pay opportunity and a comprehensive benefits package.
